I made a bet with Nurul that if she go to the gym I'd treat her to Secret Recipe. So that morning I woke up & looked at the next bed. Yup. No nurul in sight. hahhaa. She was determined to get some exercise done on the trip!

Had breakfast downstairs then off to KLCC. Bought some things then by 4pm off to Masjid India. hehehhe it was some experience. Who says we only shop at 'Kedai Mahal?' Did some bargaining. Murah you know!! I spent a lot on tudong, & kekekke those tudong still with Nurul. Didnt fit in my luggage!! :p

We dropped off our shopping & had early dinner at Secret Recipe. Again, we had cakes for STARTER!! heheh laparrrrrr...

Post dinner, went to Lot 10 & only came out when the shops were closing! "Oh, tutup tia..." hahahha guess we lost track of time ;)

Went up to drop things off again, convinced Nani to come down and get midnight snacks. We had KFC to go & I finished 2 scoops of choc choc chip by myself! SOOoOoo Yummmmyyyy!!! If only I could bring 'em back here!

We all left work early. I left at 3.15pm, rushed home to change then arrived at the airport 4.30pm. Checked in, then went inside. hehhehe Nurul was there when I arrived, WITHOUT her tudong! kekeke. The incoming flight was delayed. We left Brunei around 6.15pm.

I saw this lady carrying a box, thenI later figured out what she was carrying. It was a cake from Secret Recipe!!

The flight seemed to take forever!! I dun exactly know why. Supposedly, it only took about 2 1/2 hours ish. We landed, left LCC Terminal ( part of KLIA) & arrived at Marriott 10.30pm! We were so sleepy by then. Cant believe it. We were supposed to stay up late & enjoy the night life there.

Nurul & Nani then checked us in, Me & Izza went off to the shops. Only becoz, we're staying in one room. We tot they wont let us. So off we went.....

Then, I saw IT. I saw MNG. ahhahahhaha. I was like a little girl. Huge grin n all. Hello... Im wide awake now.hahhaha half an hour. Thats all it took. I bought a top n a skirt.kekkeke. me & my MNG obsession. It was like dejavu. Me & Izza in MNG, just like old times ;)

Found Nurul looking for us at the lobby.. "Suh, ko beli brg kah?" hahhaha It was no suprise :P

12midnite already & we havent eaten dinner. Went down to Dome. Each one of us ordered a main course & while waiting, we decided to get a cheesecake. Gone in about 5mins. We were that hungry. For dessert, I had Choc choc chip from Haagen Daaz. My favourite!! So yummmmyyyy!!!

Back To Reality..

Im back at work already. Sigh. Boring. I was so sleepy this morning that I could barely open my eyes driving to work. I havent fully recovered yet from the mad rush in KL. 4 days & 3 nights. Waking up early, staying up late, running here & there.. It was like we were on Amazing Race or something! We were on a mission!! hehehhe. Needless to say, MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. Some trip it was. THANK YOU Ladies. I had FANTASTIC time! :D Love ya Lings!

~~Dilemma~~

I have been surfing the net the last few days for a camera. Which one shall I get? Not that my current camera isnt working, it is. Just that, hmm I dunno, the thought of having a better camera sounds so good.hehhe.

After thorough comparison here & there, & after giving much thought I think I know which one I want. But mind you, I might change my mind again.

So the question was which one? Small or Big? Nikon or Sony? For compact, I think Id go for Sony T3o Black. Tho, the Nikon S5 red looks soooo yummy! Slurp~~~ As for the big boys,digital SLRs, Nikon D70s looks so simple. The Sony R1 was WOW!! But what do I know about cameras anyway? One thing I do know, after having the experience of handling the 'professional' camera, I want one of my own!! heheh. So its practicality vs beauty? Which one shall I compromise?

Finally the days here!! Yayyyy!!! I am soooooo excited!! Imagine: 1st trip abroad by plane since I got back for good from UK. Since Sept 2004 to be exact. How can I not jump with excitement & joy? :D

But thats not just it. Im flying off with THE GIRLS!!! hehehehhe. Time wit my girls, surely means F.U.N: shopping, hanging out, food hunting. Time of our lives.

We havent even board the plane yet, but the journey has already begun! We have made a list of places where its a-must-go. Both for SHOPPING & FOOD.hhehehe. :p

I made this separate blog just to highlight the event.hehheh.no biggie.

We were on our way back to the car. We parked at SOAS. Fav spot during perayaan. Only at this time, SOAS is NEAR. hahhaha. U get the picture.

Anyway, we were waiting to cross the road at the T-junction by the church & the new mahkamah in town. Then someone said ' bah tunggu saja merah ah'. Few seconds later, he said 'bah lajuuuuuuuu'. But the thing was,the light wasnt red!! Everyone ran across the road, all except me.There I was all alone on the other side & them laughing at me :p

'Bah suh laju.... Nada kereta ni'.
& tats where it came it... "Nda mauuuuuuuu. Belum merah ah."

Few mins (sure felt like it) later, I safely crossed (more like ran) the road.kekkeke.

Yes, the awaited perayaan is here!! And it's a BIG one this yr. HM's 60th Birthday.

Man, Im crap at writing. Well, I tried hahahah :p I guess I chose the right profession being an optom then :)

Anyway, we went to bandar. hehehhe. yes, we're a bunch of people who actually enjoy being part of the crowd. Enjoying the food, the crowd, the atmosphere. kekkeke. I was on a mission that nite. To get food. I was on a roll. hahha. And I quote. ' Kitani abis kan makanan si Suh saja ni'. For those who get me, they know wat they're getting into. I LIKE to what-u-say 'sample' the food a.k.a "nafsu besar, pi nda abis". So I bought 'sotong tutuk', 1kg of longan, a corn, King beef burger & air 'kelapa'. The verdict: I 'finished' them of coz :P

We were supposed to see the fireworks but I guess it was blocked by the Yayasan building. We were wondering what the 'thumping' was. Ahhhhh. It was the fireworks. & We missed it. Never mind. Left bandar midnite.

If you're wondering whats the 1st pic is about, look carefully.... Its a BBQ grill.. yes!! hahaha probably 3x as big as ur normal one is. hmmmm faster service? or just wishful thinking? ;)

Going? Not? Going? Yes, I think I am!! :D

I have been so stressed these last few days. Last monday, I just realised that the G.I.R.L.S' trip is in fact next thur. So I panicked! Why? Coz I applied for one day unpaid leave & I haven't got the approval yet, or any news on that matter!

So this morning, after persistent phone calls & 'harassing' the 'Cuti' section AND with the help from my senior staff, I got the green light. YAYYYYY!!!! Alhamdulilah... Now, all I have to worry about is my shopping list. HEHHEHEH. Better go prepared rite? Hmmmm, GIRLS trip with IZZA, NANI & NURUL? God saves us! ;)

So here's the full story.

R.A.D.J.A. LIVE IN B.R.U.N.E.I was EXCELLENT!! FANTASTIC!! Can be dubbed as THE concert of the year perhaps. Some concert it was.

I was really looking forward to the concert. We bought tickets wayyyyy ahead & had good seats. Heheheh good seats in the sense that we could jump up & down as much as we want & whenever we want!! I literally wanted to jump from the start of the concert. It was THAT good! Oh well, maybe I just needed to scream my hearts out, which I did. Along with NUROL, NANI, ADAI. My concert buddies. hehhehe. We really wish u were there CHAAP. AZROL was 'malu-malu kucing', so were SERI, LINA & NAJIB. But hey, it was too good to miss. So they all joined in at the end!

We all had a great time. Thanx to the organizers as well. Guess, not only us who learnt a lesson the last time we went to Padi & Ada Band concert. We didnt know the lyrics to most of the songs so we did our 'homework'. The organizers put out some of the songs lyrics as well so the crowd can sing along. A brilliant idea!
