Squeaks... squeaks.... SQUEAKS!!

On a rare occasion that I blog regularly, I have a funny *oh so not for me* story to tell. It was more like annoying to be honest.

I was working in Tutong today. Day was quite busy with all the school referrals coming in. And towards the end of the morning, patient seating in my room... I could hear squeaks, squeaks, squeaks. Oh you wonder what it was? YEAH, ME TOO!! I keep on popping my head out trying to figure out who was making the squeaking noise... and so I found out!!

You know babies shoes that squeaks while the child walks.. yup thats where the noise came from. Imagine that.... in front of your room.. and the child walked about nonstop. How soooooo annoying. Got on my nerve in fact. Patient out the door, I went outside... only to see the child's mum just sitting there innocently. Hadnt it occur to her that the child was making noises that was distracting other people from doing their work? I mean it IS a hospital afterall...

So what did I do? I went next door to the dr's room and said....

"Seriously, I think those kind of shoes should be banned from a hospital! Its soooo annoying!!"

Apparently, I wasnt the only one who was disturbed by it... The assistant gave the mom the look.. and all the mom could say was.... " Oh, bising jua ni kali ah.... sini Lai, jgn jln2..."

Like DUUHHHHHH!!!

Im not being a bitch or anything (PMS has gone past :p), but imagine if that was in the ward.... hmmmmmmm "Gerenti ketaguran sudah tu.."

Choc Fountain-ing & Sushi-ing

I saw a photo of the choc fountain at rano's website and I just cudnt resist. I HAVE to try it! and We DID! This afternoon. I mentioned it last nite, cari victims to bring along. kehkehkeh.

So around 1pm I texted everyone asking who wanted to join me at Saffron for hightea. And I knew I can always count on them... so there were me, Zmah, Adai, Chaap, Aming and Amir. Zmah was out and about and Wadi was at home... so malas jln. hehehhe she knew there must be something I ws after at Saffron.... and she was right. I was after the choc fountain!! And I wasnt dissappointed!! If i knew where to get one of those.. hmmmmmm ;)

It was a quite pricey to be honest, but food was good. So I didnt really mind. Stayed there till about 5ish.

Then we headed to McDs to get Wadi prosperity burger, only that they dont do it anymore.. so Zmah got him something else instead. Adai n Amir wanted to go Komunis, so we did. Sent burger to Wadi's then off to Qlap to watch dreamgirls. Us four: me, Zmah, Nani & Nurul.

Turned out we were the only ones in the cinema. Qlap cineplex is cool btw!! We had the whole cinema to ourselves. So we talked, laughed, joked and even sang as loud as we wanted to be hehehehhe. And oh yeah... I cudnt sing. Not that I dont know that already. LOL.

Had sushi @ Misato afterwards... layan Nuruls craving.. Actress' baju mcm salmon skin? That was how hungry she was.hahhahaha.

Zmah's Ada Extra Rezeki Dinner

Last nite, we had dinner at Nyonya Serusop on Zmah. Thought we were late, but there were other late comers. Think they must've gone to the other Nyonya in Gadong.

Everyone was like asking Zmah what the occasion was.. for her to belanja. Bday? Cant be. Anniversary? Nda jua. "Ada extra rezeki bah~~ "Ah okeh.. hehe esok ada lagi?" kehkehkeh.

19. That was the total no. of us there. 2 tables. One quiet, and another loud, and yes clumsy table. Thats my table. And amidst the clumsiness, I sat in btwn. Btwn Nani n Amir.

3, yes 3 separate incidents. Well make that 2 separate ones. 1st Nani spilled her drink. Ive warned them before to watch their drinks, coz from experience, when we spun the the table, its bound to knock some drinks over if not careful. Anyway, adding to d injury, Amir was trying to save his phone, but accidentally he knocked his drink too. So two spilled drinks, on my right Nani's and left Amir's. And I sat in btwn!

Then while we were eating, Amir asked the waitress who was flirting endlessly with Amir for some more water. She poured it behind my back.... onto my chair! I was like.. hmmm what is it with me and spilled drinks tonite? 'Wet oledi eh?'

Last nite we were entertained by the performers at Nyonya. Wasnt the 1st time I saw them perform, and they are quite good in fact. But last nite we had special guest singers... Chaap, Roz, Die and background dancer featuring Miji.hahahaha. He danced funnily!! Zmah took some videos of them last nite, but hehehhe think theyre for our eyes only. Tak ku relaaaa~~ ahhahah.

HAPPY 23rd NATIONAL DAY

Yol mentioned that she had to be at Taman for the National day celebration covering as medical aids for students from her school. So I thought I could come along with her to Bandar and take some shoots of the colourful event.. but then again kehkehkeh I was just too lazy to wake up that early in the morning.. and yes... she knows me too well hehhehe.

Had netball friendlies yesterday morning at Yol's school. Most Bratz were there. and some of them did a stupid thing.haha.jackass style!! but we had fun. had misato then swensens afterwards. Okay, that wasnt the highlight of my story.. hehe Manj participated in todays celebration and she was like... 'bah kamu semua, liat aku arah TV esok ah, aku ada tu... baris belakang sekali, jgn nda!'. And she said this to the students there. LOL. yes manj, we will watch u..... in the reruns! hahahhahaha. *yawn* nyaman tido ku tadi ;)

Miri CNY

ok remember nx time, when u've got a craving for Ocean's seafood in Miri... DO NOT go time CNY because its CLOSED!! imagine our dissappointment :( well, good thing Zmah & Wadi didnt go as Wadi fell sick over the wknd.

Back to Lalalalala land~~

So I've had my 2 weeks leave... and am back at work already *sigh* Why does all good things come to an end? At 1st 2 weeks seems forever.. then tup tup 1 wks gone already and I was already dreading to d day for me to start work again!

So how did I spend my holiday? Went to KL then for the rest I was.... either waking up late, and yes sleeping late (of coz!).. felt like a student again :D only I wasn't hehe. Ok wat else did I do? ohhh eat, eat and more eating of coz!! Hmmm I think just over d course of the 2 weeks my cheeks have become more chubbier :S yikeeeesss!!! (ok ok fine so wat else is new? :p)

Bratz Liza's Wedding

Reception held on 4th Feb.. Went with Yol, Manj & Kiddo. Me & Yol then dropped by to JP Polo to watch the Eratech softball tourney...

Final day - Time to go home~~

but KLCC 1st to get Burger King! hehe. Pesan org bah~~

Bfast at Starbucks (again) Genting...

Had bfast at Starbucks then went our separate ways to Bukit Bintang area.. I went to Lot 10 and stayed there til lunch time...

Back to hotel.. and all set for Genting... The ride uphill was like d fast & furious!! curves everywhere.hehehe. cian Zai.. she sat in d middle...

And boy... was it cold or was it cold?? sajukkkk kali ahhh!! Brrrrr... We just had massage at d spa n reflexology at pne of the shops.. Knackered.. 10.30p tido dah haha. But I couldnt really sleep coz of d cold....

Oh oh how could I forget the cable car??!! For someone whos afraid of heights.. it was..... kinda scary!!

Dinner at Chili's

We don't know if its just us or what.. but KL left us the impression that their people are just plain rude. Dina was pissed off coz this chinese couple cut our queue.. and she wasnt even sorry about it!!

Dinner was alrite.. the portion was too much for the 3 of us.. couldn't finish ours at all...

Shop til you drop~~

What do you get when 3 women went on a shopping spree? A bed full of shopping bags!! LOL.

I got myself 5 novels!! I heart them... :D

1st full day....

We're all out.. Had quick bfast at hotel. Burgers from McDs last nite.. I had chix prosperity burger and we're all set to Mid Valley to shop til we drop... Met up around 1ish to have lunch then went on our separate ways again for more shopping.

Dina gave up... and apparently Zai too.. but I was still roaming the floors for things.. haha. Shudve seen the look on ppls faces, the 3 of us with shopping bags.. Had my choc cream frap at Starbucks n my delicious choc banana cake from Secret Recipe... Ahhhh~~~ Dont I just love holidays~~

KL Trip with Zai & Dina

Our 1st nite in KL... had dinner at Nandos. NYUMMMM!!! but I thnk UK one tasted better. Well, better than nothing rite? Then we strolled down Bintang Walk, and I had 2 scoops of CHOC CHOC CHIP and a scoop of Chocholate N cookies kah(?) from Haagen Daaz. Well something choc definitely. All finished :D

Went inside Starhill gallery, saja meronda2 and buang boring... back to hotel 12ish. And ready for some heavy shopping the next day... Mid Valley here we come!! haha.
