A fren gave us free tickets to the premiere of the show last nite. I must say its a good one!! Prooly coz we had good seats. We really enjoyed ourselves. hehe iski~~ lambai2 the skaters lagi... Theres a kid in everyone of us :D

Last 2 weeks, Bratz joined the Jade Netball tourney. No training of some sort but somehow we got 2nd runner up. Well thanks to d import players hehe and of coz Bratz themselves!! We didnt crack under pressure this time.. More like other teams did... hehe mental again... to me!! LOL. Seriously, what was her problemmmm???!!! Am I that goooddd? hahahha.
I was happily thinking Id be sub during the tourney.. but our manager had other ideas... kinda worked tho! 1st game saja sub then played FT for the rest 6 games til 3rd & 4th placing... kapisaaaannnnnn!!!Lunch time I had rice... I tot 1 game left... semis saja.. I completely forgotten 3rd/4th.. or the finals for that matter... hahaha bagussssss!!

I don't normally lose my temper that easily unless it really gets to me. Or if I do get upset over something I try not to show it....
But just now.. I almost had it.... but thank goodness, I didn't. For reasons of.. 1) Im sure it'd get back to me 2) its not professional 3) nda kuasa marah2 arah org tua ani.....
Ok so what happened?
There were supposed to be 3 of us today but one of my col left for a meeting just before 10am and said she would not return to work until PM. Patients were booked in for the 3 of us.. so u can imagine the back load we had. Referrals from peripheral clinics, appointed patients and school referrals. ALL came today. And I was hungry. We normally get a short break at 10am.. but I continued on. Coz patients come 1st.
No break... my tummy grumbling... patients nonstop.. tat was fine... until.....
Came this one patient. An old man with his wife. He blamed us for the delay in seeing him. Well you see.. it wasnt our fault. He registered at the wrong counter. Cut story short, so I saw him. He wasnt too happy at the time, but I carried on.
Few mins into the examination, the wife asked me to speak louder.. he was hard of hearing. So... I spoke a bit louder than usual.. even my staff could hear me from outside my room.. yes, I was that loud today. For anyone who knows me... I am not loud ok...
At the end of the test, I was explaining to the patient that surgery would really help to improve his eyesight. The husband got round to the idea that glasses wouldn't really help, but NOT the wife. The wife kept on persisting to have the prescription for the glasses but I stood my ground that glasses were not necessary. So they kinda left 'empty handed'.....
Then something the wife said really steamed me up that I had to go to the toilet.. and calmed myself down before I saw my next patient!!
She said.... " Eh ngalih ngalih saja... sampai kul 11.. bah laju tah" Sooooooooooooooooo ungrateful!!!
1st it wasn't even my fault that the husband was seen late... 2nd... I was being professional about the whole situation... Layan them as I would with other patients.. Being asked to speak louder I did... Explained the current condition the husbands having nicely 3rd I was trying to save them some $$$$$$$$!! Glasses are not cheap!! Whats the point of having them if it doesn't improve your eyesight right? [ Well, I didn't want them to come back n complain that the glasses didnt help... likeeeeeeeeeee duhhhhhhhhhhh!!! What have I been saying?]
But afterall my politeness, patience... what did I get? Ungrateful patient-accompanying-person!!! Seriously.. whats the deal??

Finally finished all patients 11.30am.. and that was no break from 8am! *sigh*
But im all goooooooood now... hehe that was this morning :D

Arrived at Regent Hotel around 6ish as planned. Then off to KLCC via d rail. Went to Sony to look for a shoulder bag for Daisy (yes Ive named my pink Vaio Daisy kekkeke). Went to look for other stuff for family... It was a mini marathon, I kept looking at the time hehe... Back to hotel.. showered then went out at midnite.. for Haagen Daaz. Had my choc choc chip :D Later went down to 'Bintang Walk'. Some walk it was. HAHA.
Sun - Race Day: Got up around 9am then went down to have quick bf at Starbucks. Off to KL Sentral via Bukit Bintang for our journey to Sepang. Bought our tickets for the 'fastest way to Sepang': A package using the KLIA Transit then shuttle bus to & from Sepang circuit. Quite pricey tho.. RM80 per person, but at least we didnt have to queue and wait that long to get into Sepang.
Arrived at Sepang around 12ish.. & it was damn hot!! I later found out I got sunburned form standing waiting for another bus to take us uphill to the main entrance of d circuit. Lotssssss of people!!! Atmosphere was greeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaattt!!
Got to our seats at the grandstand after getting some food at the stalls provided. Mannnn, cekik darah gilaks!! No outside food allowed. As a result, we missed the drivers parade. Flags were flying high... Ferrari, McLaren....
Even at the stand, the heat was unbearable. Thank god, I brought my fan along. Zai ckp nda cool eh. Who cares. Panas kali ah!! Boiling hot. Temperature was rumoured to be around 40C. Tat hot!! I couldnt imagine those sitting at the hillstand without any coverage at all. If it was me there, I think Id get fried.. like a lobster. hahaha.
For the race, u know the result already. It was a 1-2 for McLaren and 3rd place for Ferraris Massa. The Omputih in front us was kambang by the result. hehehe. I got teased by him for Ferrari getting 3rd place.
B4 balik, we got some souveniers at the Sepang shop. I got tshirts and umbrellas.
On our way home from the circuit, we decided to go straight to KLCC to shop. hehe. Didnt have enough time to go back to the hotel. 1st agenda... MAKAN. Lapar eh!! We had nandos :D Got some tshirts for myself then I just sat.. too tired to walk around and shop. Naleh bnr!!
But but... not too lazy for a photo session in front of KLCC. haha. camwhoring bnr!
Thought of going out later on, but our body decided against it. Midnight, me & Zai were in bed already. hehe. Hampar~
Mon: Bf at Starbucks again b4 hitting d shops for last min shopping. Even then, I wasnt really in d mood to shop... hehehhe did manage to get some shoes for myself tho, as planned ;) Had my choc choc chip again... b4 going back to hotel.
Left KL 1.30pm.. wasnt really feeling well during the journey to KLIA. Had my period, and I was facing backwards. Felt like I wanted to vomit, so I just stayed quiet the whole way.
At the aport, I saw a box labelled DPMM FC. Haha. Could it be? Could it..? hehehhe... then ada tia d players... I'm a fan, never miss their home game, so I was all excited of coz to see them in flesh. kehkehkeh.
Bought burgers from BK. Pesan from Adai, Miji & Chaap of coz.... I heard someone from Brunei ordered 30 mushroom burgers. hahaha. I think someone shud open up BK d Brunei. Seriously hehe.
Overall, it was an enjoyable trip. Id love to go again... maybe nx yr we'll go Spore.. ;)

So another tick on my wishlist. Last Feb when I asked Zai if she wanted to go Sepang, she answered a straight no. Then came march & she saw the F1 advert in the paper, rang me and said.. "Suh, bah Sepang?" HAHAHAHA. " Zaiiiiiiii, u said u didnt wanna go...."
So booked our flights and F1 race tickets... and here we are... just 2 days till we're off to KL again. Im sooooooooo excited. Good seats.. Good weather, Good Race perhaps... and a win for FERRARI!!
Had lunch with Ejah at Express then went to YMRM to get some lining. Well Ejah did. And hmmmmmppphhh I could not resist getting some fabrics as well. HAHA. I love the sari that I bought.. lawa eh! ;)
Just 2 days ago I bought kain jua kehkehkehkeh... Welll a girl can never have too many shoes... bags... and not forgetting kain too. hehe. ;p
Last week, it was my turn to cover Tutong Clinic (we go twice a week, Monday & Thursday). Anyway, it was the Monday when I got a call from someone at IM, UBD asking if I didn't mind giving the 1st yr medics a lecture on a particular topic.
1st question I asked... 'Have u rang RIPAS?' haha. Thinking why and how did this person know who and where I was. Hmmmphhh. U see... I don't quite fancy speaking in public. Everyone knows that. One on one I can manage, no problem.. and thats why I'm an Optom ;)
Anyway, as I found out it was my colleague and ex colleague who gave out my name. The lecture was yesterday, 8am.
So day came n went. And it went quite well actually. hehe I had to ask early on if those at the back could hear my voice or not.
The night before I was having fits. Well not exactly, but I had butterflies in my tummy already!! Sooooooooo nerbassssssssssssss one keke. BUT I didn't have a nervous breakdown :p
